SEAN EWING
CHAIRMAN AND DIRECTOR

MBA Qualified, Sean built up the listed Farlake Group Plc as Chairman and CEO (trading as Rowan & Co) and sold it to a UK listed Stockbroking and Advisory Firm in 1999, before establishing the UK’s first fund Supermarket that became Egg Banking a subsidiary of Prudential which was later sold to Citigroup for GBP575million. In 2004 he Established and was CEO and Chairman of a Global Hedge fund group that was Subsequently floated on the London Stock Market with a market value in excess of $1billion. The group was voted European Hedge Fund Group of the year in 2006 by the global publication Hedge Fund Review.

Investments and Interests thereafter include the forming and building as Chairman Global Yachting Group (GYG), now listed on the London Stock Exchange through the acquisition of Pinmar and its subsequent acquisition of Rolling Stock, based in Majorca, Barcelona, Hamburg and Fort Lauderdale. A Monaco based Superyacht brokerage and management and charter group, Superyacht services and infrastructure development through acquiring of the concession in the major yacht servicing port in Palma, STP Majorca, a founding Investor, Past Chairman and current Director of Plus Medical, now trading as Salma Hospital, a pediatric-focused Critical Care hospital in Abu Dhabi with plans to roll out across the middle east. More recently he is the founding investor and Adviser to Alba Group a Guernsey-based group of Companies with initial planning approved project of over 700 residential homes in Edinburgh. Sean is also an investor and Adviser in Alcazar Capital (Dubai International Financial Centre) focusing on financial and healthcare opportunities. His family office has concluded numerous Private Equity investments, Management Buy-Outs and disposals across multiple industries over the last 30 years.

CHARBEL M. ABOU-JAOUDE
DIRECTOR

Charbel M. Abou-Jaoude is the CEO of Alcazar Capital Limited, a regulated Private Equity firm based in the Dubai International Financial Centre. Alcazar focuses on investment across multiple sectors in frontier and emerging markets, and has established a highly successful track record in managing sizeable company across geographies.

Charbel has over 30 years of professional experience. Prior to Alcazar, Charbel served as CEO of Agility Investments where he was in charge of M&A and investment transactions and the management of a $1bn Industrial Real Estate Portfolio and the NAS Airport Ground Handling business.

Before that, Charbel was group COO / MD of global operations at Agility where he played a key role in building Agility’s operating capabilities in the Middle East and lead its global growth and transformation; he then initiated the efforts to integrate the various global acquisitions and the rebranding of the different acquired companies under the Agility Logistics banner.

Prior to that he served in various management and executive roles in the USA, specifically at ABB and EXE Technologies.

ANDREA TEDESCHI
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Joined Diversified Drilling as CFO in March 2015, leading the corporate restructuring process and managing the company’s financial affairs, HR, IT and administration departments. Under his financial stewardship of the existing businesses and strategic support of the Group’s global growth plans, Diversified Drilling is well positioned to exploit the current growth in the upstream industry and continue to add value for all the company’s stakeholders.

Strong of a multi-industry and consultancy background in his yearly career with experiences between Europe, Middle East and North Africa, he worked in many fields of the oil and gas sector (upstream, midstream and downstream) in a number of increasingly senior financial roles since 2005, and holding Financial Directors and CFO positions since 2010.

Italian national, Andrea holds an Executive MBA with Corporate Finance specialization at IE Business School, Madrid, a Master of Finance at Bocconi University, Milan and he is CMA qualified accountant.

VINOD KUMAR
VICE PRESIDENT SALES AND MARKETING

Joined Diversified Drilling in April 2009 as Marketing Manager after spending two decades in the oil and gas sector in different countries handling sales, marketing, and sales administration roles. Under his leadership, the company has achieved tremendous revenue growth, added new businesses from multiple customers across different geographical locations. His ability to interpret technical requirement and present customized solutions has earned the respect and recognition from customers’ resulting in increased sales and business.

Vinod was promoted to Vice President Sales & Marketing in 2015 and oversees all the activities related to BOP and related equipment rentals, new equipment sales, aftermarket support, field service, and equipment OEM and API re-certifications.

Vinod has 30 years’ experience in BOP and Pressure control equipment used in onshore and offshore oil and gas drilling, exploration and work-over operations.Before joining Diversified Drilling he has worked for 12 years at Cameron, in Singapore and Saudi Arabia, as Sales and Administration manager, and 5 years prior to that at Al-Hugayet Trading Est in Saudi Arabia as a sales/project coordinator.

Vinod holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (Marketing) from University of Pune, India.
